THE COOLEST MAN YOU KNOW
Autumn / Winter 21 In 2015, Franck Gauthé decided to launch his first concept store in Paris. From the start, this first store offered a sharp selection of niche brands in the men's wardrobe. In 2019, he started from scratch and reinvented himself under the name The Coolest Man You Know, an intimate concept store at the back of a courtyard, in Rue d'Aboukir, located in the hyper-center of Paris. This Parisian flagship represents the very essence of the brand, indeed, contact and relationships constitute the DNA of the project. At the same time, he launched a brand eponymous of the store, focused on the product. This story began thanks to an attraction to well-made and sustainable products, objects and garments due to their quality. The brand aims to highlight the materials, the confection but also the people and stories behind each of the pieces The Coolest Man You Know uses essentially Italian manufacturers carried out in a dozen family factories specializing in the manufacture of one type of product. This comes after a long period of sourcing and travel to explore the best European, American and Japanese manufacturers. The project is part of a desire to respond to a need to change at our small level the current way of consuming clothing by choosing slow fashion in short circuits with the goal of gradually moving towards qualitative, exclusive and low-cost collections with a low environnemental impact.
